Lawren Simmons is a documentary photographer and photojournalist working in Washington, D.C. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville. Simmons’ clientele includes The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, A24, i-D, and The Boston Globe; he was awarded the first Many Visions Fellowship from summer of 2020 into 2022 hosted by Alex Webb and Rebecca Norris Webb. Lawren is also a 2025 PhotoWork Junior Fellow.
